1. (1) When an operator supplies potable drinking water for public use, the potable water supply system shall be designed, installed, and operated according to the requirements set forth by:

   1. (a) Plumbing Code;
   2. (b) the Utah Department of Environmental Quality, Division of Drinking Water under Title R309, Drinking Water; and
   3. (c) local health department regulations.
2. (2) Any plumbing fixture provided by the operator that normally requires water for its operation shall have an adequate potable water supply under pressure.
