This rule is authorized under Sections 26B-7-402, 26B-1-202, and 26B-7-113. This rule establishes minimum standards for the design, construction, operation, maintenance, and sanitation of a school, and provides for the prevention and control of hazards associated with a school that are likely to adversely affect public health and wellness including risk factors contributing to injury, sickness, death, disability, and the spread of disease.
