1. (1) The executive director of the commission shall appoint an individual to serve as a coordinator for the committees.

2. (2) The coordinator shall:

   1. (a) assist a victim or a representative of a victim in filing a complaint;
   2. (b) receive and process complaints submitted by a victim or a representative of a victim;

   3. (c) coordinate between a committee and:

      1. (i) a victim;
      2. (ii) the subject of a complaint; or
      3. (iii) a criminal justice agency; and
   4. (d) provide assistance to the committees.
