1. (1) The chair of the commission shall preside at all meetings and ensure that each commissioner has the opportunity to fully participate.

2. (2) Commission staff shall:

   1. (a) take summary minutes of commission meetings which shall describe:

      1. (i) the date, time and place of the meeting;
      2. (ii) all commissioners present, absent, or excused;
      3. (iii) commission staff present;
      4. (iv) decisions made by the commissioners;
      5. (v) any statements made by commissioners regarding a potential conflict;
      6. (vi) the total tally of all votes, but not the vote of individual commissioners;
      7. (vii) any written statements submitted to the commission; and
      8. (viii) any other matter a commissioner asks to be included; and
   2. (b) perform any other tasks assigned by commissioners that are consistent with governing statutes and rules.
3. (3) A commissioner may be removed from a commission and the governor shall appoint a replacement if commission staff finds that the commissioner has failed to follow applicable statutes or rules.
