1. (1) Rated capacity of the emission unit is less than five million BTU per hour;
2. (2) No other fuel than natural gas or LPG or other mixed gas that meets the standards of gas distributed by a utility in accordance with the rules of the Public Service Commission of the State of Utah is used; and
3. (3) No other emissions than combustion products are emitted from the emission unit.

An owner or operator of a boiler, process heater, water heater, air heater, forced-air furnace, or steam generator is not required to obtain an Approval Order under Section R307-401-8 if the emission unit meets the requirements of Subsections R307-431-4(1), (2), and (3):
