1. (1) Electrostatic application;
2. (2) Flow coat;
3. (3) Dip/electrodeposition coat;
4. (4) Roll coat;
5. (5) Hand Application Methods;
6. (6) High-volume, low-pressure (HVLP) spray; or
7. (7) Another application method capable of achieving 65% or greater transfer efficiency equivalent or better to HVLP spray, as certified by the manufacturer.

No owner or operator shall apply VOC containing coatings to metal parts and products unless the coating is applied with equipment operated according to the equipment manufacturer specifications, and by the use of one of the following methods:
