1. (1) The requirements of R307-346 do not apply to the following:

   1. (a) Stencil coatings;
   2. (b) Safety-indicating coatings;
   3. (c) Solid-film lubricants;
   4. (d) Electrical-insulating and thermal-conducting coatings;
   5. (e) Touch-up and repair coatings; or
   6. (f) Coating applications utilizing hand-held aerosol cans.
