1. (1) Subject to legislative appropriations, an LEA may apply for a grant on behalf of a school counselor by submitting an application:

   1. (a) provided on USBE's website;
   2. (b) to the Superintendent; and
   3. (c) except as provided in Subsection (2), on or before June 30.
2. (2) If the annual appropriation for the program exceeds the grant requests, the Superintendent may extend the deadline specified in Subsection (1)(c) by posting a new deadline on USBE's website.
