1. (1) An LEA's or a school's plan shall include standard response protocols as established by the state security chief and shall provide procedures for students and adults to receive developmentally appropriate and age-appropriate emergency preparedness training including:

   1. (a) rescue techniques;
   2. (b) first aid;
   3. (c) Hold, Secure, Lockdown, Evacuate, and Shelter protocols;
   4. (d) Avoid, Deny, Defend, and Aid protocols;
   5. (e) reunification method;
   6. (f) safety measures appropriate for specific emergencies; and
   7. (g) other emergency skills.
2. (2) An LEA shall conduct emergency and fire drills in accordance with Section 15A-5-202.5.
