1. (1)(a) Pursuant to Section 63M-7-521, when billing from the providers exceeds the maximum allowed, the reparations officer shall pay the bills by the date of service.

   1. (b) The reparations officer shall solicit input from the victim when making this determination.
   2. (c) When the services and the billings have occurred at the same time, the reparations officer shall determine payment on a percentage basis.
2. (2) Reparations awards may only be granted for costs the reparations officer determines are directly related to or resulting from criminally injurious conduct.
