1. (1) This rule is known as the "Division Utah Administrative Procedures Act Rule."
2. (2) This rule is adopted by the Division under the authority of Title 63G, Chapter 4, Administrative Procedures Act, and Subsections 58-1-106(1)(a) and 58-1-108(1).

3. (3) The purposes of this rule include:

   1. (a) designating categories of Division adjudicative proceedings;
   2. (b) identifying presiding officers at Division adjudicative proceedings; and
   3. (c) defining procedures for Division adjudicative proceedings that are consistent with Title 58, Occupations and Professions, Title 63G, General Government, and Rule R151-4, Department of Commerce Administrative Procedures Act Rule.
