1. (1) A licensed practical nurse license shall be superseded upon the issuance of a registered nurse license.

2. (2)(a) An advanced practice registered nurse may hold both an APRN and an RN license in Utah.

   1. (b) Unless the APRN requests that both the APRN and RN licenses remain active, the RN license shall be superseded upon the issuance of the APRN license.
