1. (1) Under Subsection 58-1-203(1)(f), there is created the Advisory Peer Education Committee.

2. (2) The duties and responsibilities of the Advisory Peer Education Committee are to:

   1. (a) review applications for approval of medication aide training programs;
   2. (b) monitor a nursing education program that is approved for a limited time under Section R156-31b-601 as it progresses toward accreditation; and
   3. (c) advise the Division as to nursing education issues.

3. (3) The composition of the Advisory Peer Education Committee shall be:

   1. (a) seven RNs or APRNs actively involved in nursing education, including at least one representative from each of the following:

      1. (i) a public nursing program;
      2. (ii) a private nursing program; and
      3. (iii) a proprietary nursing program; and
   2. (b) any member of the Board who wishes to serve on the committee.
