1. (1) the procedure may only be performed for cosmetic and not medical purposes, unless the licensee is working under the supervision of a licensed health care practitioner, who is working within the scope of the practitioner's license; and
2. (2) the benefits and risks of the procedure.

Under Subsections 58-11a-102(35)(b) and (45)(a)(i)(C) and (E), a licensee acting within the licensee's scope of practice shall inform a client of the following before applying a chemical exfoliant, using a microneedling device, or using a microdermabrasion machine:
