Section, act Aug. 28, 1950, ch. 809, title III, pt. 4, § 344(a), 64 Stat. 554, provided, in the case of any State without a plan for aid to the blind approved on , for approval of the plan of such a State conforming to all requirements except those relating to determination of need and consideration of resources but conditioned payments to the State meeting the excepted requirement.

L. 85–840, title V, § 509, 72 Stat. 1051; , Pub. L. 86–778, title VII, § 706, 74 Stat. 995, which provided that this section should become effective and terminate .
