Section, Pub. L. 106–568, title VI, § 602, , 114 Stat. 2906, which set out congressional findings and purpose, was omitted from the Code as being of special and not general application.
Pub. L. 106–568, title VI, § 601, , 114 Stat. 2906, provided that title VI of Pub. L. 106–568, enacting this subchapter and provisions formerly set out as a note under this section, could be cited as the “Torres-Martinez Desert Cahuilla Indians Claims Settlement Act”.
