1. (a) The Motor Carrier Division Director shall sign a written final order in a contested case under this subchapter.
2. (b) The department shall email a copy of the final order to the parties in the contested case and send a copy of the final order by certified mail, return receipt requested.

3. (c) The provisions of Government Code, Chapter 2001, Subchapter F govern:

   1. (1) the issuance of a final order issued under this subchapter; and
   2. (2) motions for rehearing filed in response to a final order.
4. (d) An order in a contested case is final in accordance with Government Code, §2001.144.
