1. (a) This subchapter applies to the following persons:

   1. (1) applicants and holders of a license; and
   2. (2) persons who are acting at the time of application, or will later act, in a representative capacity for an applicant or holder of a license, including the applicant's or holder's officers, directors, members, managers, trustees, partners, principals, or managers of business affairs.
2. (b) In this subchapter a "conviction" includes a deferred adjudication that is considered to be a conviction under Texas Occupations Code, §53.021(d).
