An infirmary should be provided for facilities of 200 or more capacity. When an infirmary is provided, the following minimum components shall be included:

1. (1) nurses station;
2. (2) locked medication station with storage for individually filled prescriptions;
3. (3) utility room with sink and storage for linens and equipment;
4. (4) refrigerated storage;
5. (5) utility room with double tub sink and clinical service sink with flushing rim;
6. (6) 80 square feet of floor space per bed;
7. (7) at least one single occupancy room or cell with 80 square feet of floor space;
8. (8) doors, through which patients and equipment are to be moved, of adequate width to allow turning of wheeled chairs and tables normally used in medical facilities;
9. (9) a lavatory with a gooseneck inlet and wrist controls accessible to each ward;
10. (10) janitor closet;
11. (11) toilet, lavatory, and shower for use of offenders in the infirmary;
12. (12) additional elements as dictated by the facility health care director.
