1. (a) Headings. The headings in this chapter are for convenience only and are not intended as a guide to the interpretation of the standards in this chapter.
2. (b) Including. Unless the context clearly indicates otherwise, the words "include," "includes," and "including," when following a general statement or term, are to be understood as introducing a non-exhaustive list.
3. (c) Time. Any period of days set forth in this chapter is computed as set forth in Section 311.014, Government Code. Unless otherwise specified, a period of "days" means "calendar days." When this chapter requires or allows an act by any party other than TJJD to be done at or within a specified time period, the executive director or Board may, for good cause shown, order the period extended or permit the act to be done after the expiration of the specified period.
