1. (a) The personnel file of each juvenile probation officer authorized to carry a firearm in accordance with this subchapter must contain a copy of the:

   1. (1) PID Assignment (TCOLE C-1 form);
   2. (2) results of criminal history checks conducted pursuant to the requirements of this subchapter;
   3. (3) Licensee Psychological and Emotional Health Declaration (TCOLE L-3 form);
   4. (4) proof of annual firearms proficiency;
   5. (5) verification of successful completion of TCOLE's firearms training program for juvenile probation officers; and
   6. (6) acknowledgment that the officer has reviewed the department's current policies and procedures specified in §341.808 of this title.
2. (b) Juvenile probation departments must allow TCOLE, other law enforcement agencies, and TJJD access to records pertaining to firearms and use of force incidents for monitoring and investigation purposes.
