The order of dignity of calls in a survey is as follows:

1. (1) Natural objects (rivers, etc.).
2. (2) Artificial objects (marked trees, stone mounds, adjoinder calls, etc.).
3. (3) Courses (bearings).
4. (4) Distances.
5. (5) Acreage.
