Other responsibilities of IRB2 include:

1. (1) reviewing and developing Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) rules and policies governing the conduct of research; and
2. (2) providing technical assistance and interpretation of policies, procedures, HHSC rules, and regulations concerning the conduct of research involving human subjects.
