1. (a) Primary caregivers must:

   1. (1) Be at least 18 years of age;
   2. (2) Have a high school diploma or its equivalent; and
   3. (3) Meet the background check requirements in this subchapter.

2. (b) Caregivers must:

   1. (1) Be at least 14 years of age and at least two years older than the oldest child in their care; and
   2. (2) Meet the background check requirements in this subchapter.
3. (c) Supplemental caregivers must meet the background check requirements in this subchapter.
