1. (a) The facility must promote a volunteer program designed to assist in meeting the social and emotional needs of the residents.
2. (b) A volunteer council may be utilized to solicit community involvement in the volunteer program.
3. (c) The facility should promote volunteer programs designed to provide social, emotional, educational, and sensory opportunities for its pediatric residents.
