1. (a) In the event a physician who is not the medical director is present at the scene of an emergency, the care provided by that physician must be appropriate for the circumstances and documented appropriately by the EMS agency with the name of the physician providing care.
2. (b) If possible, the medical director and physician present must communicate and coordinate care as appropriate under the circumstances.
