1. (a) All applicants for an administrative medicine license must meet the requirements of §155.009 of the Act, and must:

   1. (1) meet the general requirements set forth in §161.6 of this chapter;
   2. (2) submit a completed application on the board-approved form;
   3. (3) pay the required fee of $817.00 and any additional fees and surcharges, as applicable; and
   4. (4) submit any additional documentation as requested.

2. (b) An administrative medicine license:

   1. (1) is limited to administration or management that utilizes the medical and clinical knowledge, skill, and judgment of a licensed physician and is capable of affecting the health and safety of the public or any person; and

   2. (2) does not grant authority to do the following:

      1. (A) the practice of clinical medicine;
      2. (B) direct patient care, treatment, or diagnosis;
      3. (C) the prescribing of dangerous drugs or controlled substances; and
      4. (D) supervision and delegation.
