Tasks assigned to the committee include:

1. (1) Provide counsel to the Board and Commissioner on the administration of the Opportunity High School Diploma program;
2. (2) Study and make recommendation to the Board and Commissioner on the instructional outcomes and performance expectations;
3. (3) Study and make recommendations to the Board and Commissioner on assessments;
4. (4) Identify funding sources or mechanisms to encourage and facilitate participation in the Opportunity High School Diploma program; and
5. (5) Any other charges issued by the Board or the Commissioner.
