The following words and terms, when used in this subchapter, shall have the following meanings, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise:

1. (1) Board--The governing body of the agency known as the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board.
2. (2) Commissioner--The Commissioner of Higher Education, the Chief Executive Officer of the Board.
3. (3) Coordinating Board--Unless context indicates otherwise, the agency known as the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board and staff employed by the agency to carry out assigned duties of the agency.
