The Dietitians Advisory Board consists of nine members appointed by the presiding officer of the commission with the approval of the commission as follows:

1. (1) six licensed dietitian members, each of whom has been licensed under the Act for not less than three years before the member's date of appointment; and
2. (2) three members who represent the public.
