1. (a) This subchapter applies to programs administered by the department under the following chapters of Title 3, Occupations Code:

   1. (1) Chapter 202 (Podiatrists);
   2. (2) Chapter 203 (Midwives);
   3. (3) Chapter 401 (Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists);
   4. (4) Chapter 402 (Hearing Instrument Fitters and Dispensers);
   5. (5) Chapter 403 (Licensed Dyslexia Practitioners and Therapists);
   6. (6) Chapter 451 (Athletic Trainers);
   7. (7) Chapter 455 (Massage Therapy);
   8. (8) Chapter 506 (Behavior Analysts);
   9. (9) Chapter 605 (Orthotists and Prosthetists); and
   10. (10) Chapter 701 (Dietitians).
2. (b) This subchapter is promulgated under Occupations Code §51.501.
3. (c) The provisions of this subchapter are in addition to all other provisions of law or commission rules that apply to the programs in subsection (a).
4. (d) To the extent that any provision of this subchapter conflicts with any provision of the laws or rules governing a program in subsection (a), the specific provision governing a program will prevail over this subchapter.
