1. (a) This subchapter applies to programs administered by the department under the following chapters of Title 3, Occupations Code:

   1. (1) Chapter 203 (Midwives);
   2. (2) Chapter 401 (Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists);
   3. (3) Chapter 402 (Hearing Instrument Fitters and Dispensers);
   4. (4) Chapter 451 (Athletic Trainers);
   5. (5) Chapter 506 (Behavior Analysts);
   6. (6) Chapter 605 (Orthotists and Prosthetists); and
   7. (7) Chapter 701 (Dietitians).
2. (b) The provisions of this subchapter are in addition to all other provisions of law or commission rules that apply to the programs in subsection (a).
