- (a) The counsellor may employ lawyers, economists, engineers, consultants, statisticians, accountants, clerical staff, and other employees as the counsellor considers necessary to carry out this chapter.
- (b) An employee receives compensation as prescribed by the legislature from the assessment imposed by Subchapter A, Chapter 16.
