Qualifications for Office

Effective Apr 1, 2009Added by Acts 2007, 80th Leg., R.S., Ch. 920 (H.B. 3166)

To be eligible for appointment and to serve as a director, a person must:

(1) be at least 18 years of age;
(2) reside in the district and in Harrison or Marion County; and
(3) possess the qualifications of a juror.
