- (a) The commissioners court shall order an election on the question of dissolution of the district if the board receives a petition of 20 percent of the voters in the district.
- (b) The commissioners court on its own motion may order an election on the question of dissolution of the district.
(c) An order calling an election under this section must contain:
- (1) the time of the election;
- (2) the location of the polling places;
- (3) the issue to be printed on the ballot; and
- (4) the presiding judge for each polling place.
