- (a) The district shall provide for the establishment, administration, maintenance, operation, and financing of a hospital or hospital system in the district.
(b) The district may provide any services or facilities necessary for hospital or medical care, including:
- (1) rural health clinics;
- (2) outpatient clinics;
- (3) nursing homes;
- (4) home health care agencies;
- (5) extended care facilities;
- (6) assisted living or personal care facilities; and
- (7) retirement, housing, and medical office buildings.
