In this subchapter, "hospital official" means the following officers or employees, or their equivalent, of the teaching hospital described by Section 1053.152(a):

1. (1) the executive director;
2. (2) the president;
3. (3) the chief executive officer;
4. (4) the chief operating officer;
5. (5) the chief financial officer;
6. (6) any vice president; and
7. (7) any other officer.
