- (a) The board shall appoint a tax assessor-collector to assess and collect taxes imposed by the district.
- (b) The district tax assessor-collector is not required to reside in the district.
(c) The board shall set for the district tax assessor-collector:
- (1) the terms of employment; and
- (2) compensation.
