(a) The board consists of:
- (1) the members of the Commissioners Court of Hood County, including the county judge; and
- (2) four persons appointed by the county judge.
(b) One director appointed by the county judge must be:
- (1) a doctor of medicine; or
- (2) a doctor of osteopathy.
- (c) An appointed director serves a two-year term.
