1. (a) Directors are elected from the district at large.

2. (b) Unless a four-year term is established under Section 285.081, Health and Safety Code:

   1. (1) directors serve staggered two-year terms; and
   2. (2) a directors' election shall be held on the first Saturday in May of each year to elect the appropriate number of directors.
3. (c) Notice of the directors' election shall be published at least once in a newspaper with general circulation in the district in accordance with Section 4.003(a), Election Code.
