To Whom Notice Given; Manner

Effective Jan 1, 2022Acts 2021, 87th Leg., R.S., Ch. 690 (H.B. 2237)

The lien claimant must send written notice of his claim by certified mail to:

  1. (1) the officials of the state, county, town, or municipality whose duty it is to pay the contractor; and
  2. (2) the contractor at the contractor's last known business or residence address.
