An appraisal management company registered under this chapter must verify that an individual to whom the company is making an assignment for the completion of an appraisal:

1. (1) is licensed or certified under Chapter 1103; and
2. (2) has not had a license or certificate as an appraiser denied, revoked, or surrendered in lieu of revocation since the last time the company made an assignment for an appraisal to the appraiser.
