The board may enter into agreements with licensing or registration boards in other states and other appropriate organizations, societies, associations, and agencies to develop uniform standards for:

1. (1) the licensing or registration of geoscientists;
2. (2) accrediting educational programs;
3. (3) establishing reciprocal and temporary licenses;
4. (4) developing regional or national examinations;
5. (5) evaluating applicants; or
6. (6) other purposes consistent with this chapter.
