A sheriff shall accept or approve a bail bond executed by a license holder in the county in which the license holder is licensed if:

1. (1) the bond is for a county or district case;
2. (2) the bond is executed in accordance with this chapter and the rules adopted by the board; and
3. (3) a bail bond is required as a condition of release of the defendant for whom the bond is executed.
