A person may not:

1. (1) intentionally damage or destroy a storage facility; or

2. (2) disable a safety device in a storage facility except to:

   1. (A) repair, maintain, test, or replace the device; or
   2. (B) conduct other activities that are reasonably necessary for the safe operation of the storage facility.
