1. (a) Unless the statute specifically states that the statute applies to the land office, the following statutes do not apply to the land office:

   1. (1) a statute that would require the land office to provide a notice or disclosure to a buyer of real property; and
   2. (2) a statute relating to the sale, purchase, or financing of real property by an executory contract, including a contract for deed or other similar sale.
2. (b) This section does not affect the application of a statute described by Subsection (a)(2) to a party involved in a transaction with the land office.
