The unit of measurement in this subchapter has the following values, based on the International Meter established by the National Bureau of Standards:

1. (1) one meter = 39.37 inches exactly;
2. (2) one U.S. survey foot = 0.3048006096 meter;
3. (3) one vara = 33-1/3 inches exactly; and
4. (4) one international foot = 0.3048 meter exactly.
