For another Subchapter D, consisting of Secs. 211.051 to 211.057, added by Acts 2025, 89th Leg., R.S., Ch. 841 (S.B. 1567), Sec. 1, see Sec. 211.051 et seq., post.

In this subchapter:

1. (1) "Housing organization" means a:

   1. (A) trade or industry group organized under the laws of this state consisting of local members primarily engaged in the construction or management of housing units;

   2. (B) nonprofit organization organized under the laws of this state that:

      1. (i) provides or advocates for increased access or reduced barriers to housing; and
      2. (ii) has filed written or oral comments with the legislature; or
   3. (C) nonprofit organization organized under the laws of this state that is engaged in public policy research, education, and outreach that includes housing policy-related issues and advocacy.
2. (2) "Small lot" means a residential lot that is 4,000 square feet or less.
