Tex. Loc. Gov't Code § 336.053

Eligibility for Appointment

Effective Jun 17, 2005Added by Acts 2005, 79th Leg., Ch. 883 (S.B. 1205)

A person is eligible for appointment to the board if the person:

(1) resides in the district;
(2) is registered to vote in a county in which the district is located; and
(3) has recognized expertise in:
1. (A) library services;
2. (B) education;
3. (C) information technology;
4. (D) local or Texas history; or
5. (E) business management.
