Initial Claim Determination

Effective Sep 1, 1993Acts 1993, 73rd Leg., ch. 269

(a) The commission shall determine whether an initial claim is valid.
(b) For each valid initial claim, the commission shall determine:
1. (1) the claimant's benefit year;
2. (2) the benefit amount for total unemployment; and
3. (3) the duration of benefits.
